This original car has 44,000 original miles on the odometer. The upholstery shows little wear.
The tires all appear to be be pre-war. All hold air, but are hard and cracked. The car is in "as found" condition and no attempt has been made to run the car in recent times. It has obviously been kept in excellent storage conditions.
The car was used through World War II and has a Pierce Arrow (Series 33) gas tank mounted on brackets at the rear of the car. This was done to avoid cans of fuel in the car on a 400 mile trip during gas rationing.
The woodwork is solid and the car's doors close easily. The windows work but need oil. Boiler condition is unknown.
The car features Pierce Arrow front brakes, probably fitted in the 1920s. It is a very nice period upgrade. Should not be changed. There is no sign of any body damage or filler.
This distinguished car should be preserved as it is. There is no other unrestored condensing car to match this machine.
