White Steamers - Models A & B

1901 - 1902

This postcard shows a 1901 White Steamer at the Crawford Auto-Aviation Museum in Cleveland, Ohio.

This photograph came from the White Motor Company, probably about 1946.  Both photos are identified as follows:

"Scene at the completion of the 100-mile Long Island endurance contest, April 26, 1902, showing three White steamers which successfully completed the long run."

"Riding in style in a 1902 model White Steamer.  Here the steering wheel has replaced the tiller.

"Please give credit to The White Motor Company when this pictures is published.  If additional copies are wanted, specify photograph number 651306D."

This advertisement consumed about 40% of a page in a 1902 LIFE Magazine.  The month and page number are unknown.

In 1954, Sunoco produced a series of antique car coins.  This is the 1901 White Steamer Coin.

It is not clear who produced this gold colored White Steamer token.
